Katie Allison: "On Saturday, I'm going to the Puyallup Fair for the first time in many years, and I will eat my body weight in fried junk, pet some farm animals, ride roller coasters, and watch some 'mutton-busting' (tiny children riding sheep!). Then I guess I'll spend Sunday shame-exercising. Worth it."

Brendan Kiley: "I'm going to see eSe Teatro's Don Quixote & Sancho Panza: Homeless in Seattle, by eSe's artistic director Rose Cano, which re-calibrates the story to begin with two Latino guys who meet in a Seattle ER then go out into the streets together."

Dan Savage: "I'm going to DICKSLAP tonight, I'm going to Dallas tomorrow, and I'm going to see the closing night performance of Angels in America on Sunday night."

Jen Graves: "Taking my favorite 85-year-old person to eat breakfast at Huckleberry Square (a restaurant in Burien that serves huckleberry things), seeing Angels in America: Perestroika, and guessing the secret words that inspired Ellen Ziegler, Julia Freeman, and Caroline Kapp to make the art in the show Trialogue at SOIL. And jumping in a lake."

David Schmader: "I was hoping to catch one of the final shows of Angels in America: Perestroika at Intiman but it's sold out! Good for them, bad for me. I will comfort myself by roller skating to the songs of Duran Duran. (By some stroke of luck, I've landed on the annual invitation list for the birthday event thrown by the world's biggest Duran Duran fan, Durandy. The event's called 'Durandemonium on Wheels aka The Union of the Skate,' and I might responsibly enhance my D2 skating experience with a wee hit off Simon LeBong.)"

Christopher Frizzelle: "Seeing A Chorus Line... again. My boyfriend didn't get to see it when I went last week. And I'm going to go see The Skeleton Twins."

Dave Segal: "At some point this weekend I hope to see (again) the modular-synth documentary I Dream of Wires at Grand Illusion, because it deserves a viewing on something bigger than a computer screen. On Saturday Jive Time Records is having its 13th anniversary sale (everything’s 25% off) and I’ll be in the aisles there, trying to grip as many vinyl treasures as I can without incinerating next month’s rent."

Kelly O: "I'm on page 500 of a 592 page novel, written by Philipp Meyer, about the birth of Texas called The Son (Comanches! Rangers! Oil Barons! Cowboys!) and if I don't finish it, I might die. I'm also going to try to stay outside as much as possible, as it's the official last weekend of summer (with a grand finale of 85 degrees predicted for Sunday!)"
