The other day while picking through the DVD selection at Lifelong Thrift I found this—Techno Seattle. Um, it appears to be a documentary of sorts detailing the Seattle techno scene, circa 2004. I had no idea the Seattle techno scene rated! However, not being a techno nerd I chose TO NOT spend the two bucks to watch "Hot Bodies Jam To The Beats Of The Worlds Best DJs" and instead I took cover snaps to show the Stranger's electronic music expert, Dave Segal. Uh, he had NO idea what I'd found. Right, so did any of you, dear Slog Out folks have anything to do with this? Anyone ever watched this? Or, perhaps, recognize the cherub faced DJ pictured on the rear cover?! Is he still lording over the wheels of steel ANYWHERE in Seattle?

If you're looking to score a copy, there's still a sale link up at Amazon; a couple sellers have Techno Seattle on offer for as low as ONE technicolored cent!! Oh, there's also a SINGLE, five star no less, review which includes a list of all the DJs which were featured in Techno Seattle. Go ahead, peep the list and SEE IF YOU RECOGNIZE ANY OF THE DJs! For reals, I'm curious!!!

Also, did there REALLY need to be down bloused boobs on the DVD cover? Tehcno L.A. has a DJ scratching as the cover photo, but Seattle needed tits?
