Iska Dhaaf (Benjamin Verdoes and Nate Quiroga) are moving to New York. Tomorrow, Saturday, they are hosting and playing a farewell performance in the Caffe Vita Bean Room. The show is going to be in the round, with speakers in the four corners angled in toward the center of the room where the bands—Pillar Point, Valley Maker, and OCnotes, along with Iska Dhaaf—will be playing.

Acoustics should be somewhat inside-out and interactive depending on where you stand. Nick Bartoletti will be doing projections on screens in front of the stage, putting the players in pixelized bubble realm. Proceeds from the show are going to Iska Dhaaf’s eastbound gas fund.
