"The Fault in Our Schools"

Posted by on Thu, Jun 26, 2014 at 2:57 PM

Jon Stewart and the Daily Show did a great short piece on campus sexual assault last night, full of moments like:

"'Expelled upon graduation?' Isn't that... graduation?"

and:

"Jessica, you're telling me that women just spend their whole day navigating an obstacle course of sexual menace?" "Pretty much."

Video is below the jump since Comedy Central videos always auto-play for some people. ENJOY!

There's a point where Jessica's tone seemed to imply that she was going to start throwing out some obvious exaggerations for comedic effect, but no, that was just her being emphatic. The skit is funny, but horrifying and sickening at the same time. Yet another reason why college should not be considered the essential step in life that it has in the past.

Like @2, I kept waiting for the next step, to something ridiculous. But, sadly, the stuff women (on campus particularly, but also in life) have to put up with is insane enough.
