Honk! Fest Two-Minute Video: Georgetown Freak-Nasty

Posted by on Mon, Jun 23, 2014 at 11:27 AM

Honk! Fest West went down in Georgetown this past weekend. Massive jubilation was had. Video footage here is from Friday. The Seahawks Blue Thunder Drumline is seriously good. They're a group metronome of exacto stick-work cutlery. GHS Drumline was in on the mix, and thumbs up. Together, the dual drumlines made people squeal and hover. What Cheer? Brigade from Providence, RI hopped and blew brass with a slightly more scattered and charged mirth. A man among the throng displayed an array of impenetrable freak-nasty dance movement. Then, inside Ferdous Ahmed’s Airstream, there was a collection of items that included a Victrola once owned by Ronald Reagan’s mom.

Thanks for the coverage and for posting the video! Everyone should come to HONK! next year. It's the most fun you can have in public without breaking the law.
