Overheard Outside The Stranger's Offices

Posted by on Tue, Jun 17, 2014 at 10:49 AM

Man in about his 50s, with a white beard and slicked back hair: "Never slice. It's always straight, straight, straight, as many times as you can! And then, you'll kill him. Now repeat that."

Excited woman in her mid-20s: "Straight, straight, straight, as many times as I can!"

So if I read an article about someone with multiple stab wounds in a day or two you managed to take a picture, right?

Creepy! My upstairs neighbor just stabbed the shit out of someone last night. I wonder if she got advice from this guy.

Ummm....

"SEATTLE -- Officers arrived at a Capitol Hill apartment shortly before midnight Monday to hear a man pleading with his girlfriend, "Don't kill me! Stop stabbing me!" according to the Seattle Police Department.

According to police, officers responded to the apartment in the 1300 block of East John Street for reports of a man and woman yelling.

After hearing the victim screaming, officers knocked on the door. A 31-year-old woman answered and was arrested.

The 27-year-old victim had multiple severe stab wounds to his chest and abdomen. He was taken to Harborview Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.

The suspect was booked into King County Jail for investigation of domestic-violence assault.

A bloody, 8-inch kitchen knife was found inside the apartment and placed into evidence."

So let me get this straight...people are plotting a murder and you don't think it worthy of calling the cops, but posting a pithy recap here instead?

Crapitol Hill sure sounds like a wonderful place to settle down and raise a family.

what a shithole that place is.

Slice is self defense, stab is assault, says the judge. Old school knife fighting wisdom for the end game. Straight razor folded back over the knuckles. Punch to the neck... Black man taught me when I was not old enough to buy beer.

They're just rehearsing for a local stage production of "Helter Skelter."

Yeah in retrospect it sounds like they're talking about the legend of zelda or something. I'd still hate to be wrong about that, though.
