Against Me's Laura Jane Grace Will Star in Her Own Reality Show for AOL

Posted by on Sun, May 4, 2014 at 8:05 AM

This week AOL announced 16 new original shows that will debut on AOL's On Network and usually I'd hear that newzzzzzzzz and curl up to take a nap, but there is one show on the roster that I'm actually really looking forward to—punk rock icon Laura Jane Grace, the lead singer of the band Against Me who came out as transgender in 2012, will star in a series called So Much More. The show will follow her around and document her transition from male to female as the band tours on their latest record (the phenomenal Transgender Dysphoria Blues). We'll also meet some of the people she's met on the road, who are navigating their own transitions.

Watch the trailer here.

If you're interested, there will also be shows starring Steve Buscemi, Zoe Saldana, Mike Epps, and, of course, James Franco. You know it's okay to say no to some projects, right, Franco? Just say no. Just take a break. I used to like you, but you just keep insisting upon yourself. Enough! Take a nap.

Franco asserts himself.

Once may tire of that.

But today's noosphere is 99 44/100ths assertion.
