Studies have shown that our brains tend to send us a shot of dopamine in the anticipatory seconds leading up to our favorite parts of compositions, and that we respond similarly to grand changes in pitch and melody. It's something truly great, and it just happened to me. I was just sitting here typing, minding my own business, listening to the above song, off an album I haven't listened to in a good while, when the part-change at 4:03 hit, and it was all goosebumps. I listened to the song a few more times but couldn't reproduce quite the same results, which is not to say I don't still love it.

So I put it to you, Slog, on this fine Friday: Do you remember the last time music gave you the chills? What was the music? Where were you? Let 'em know.
