Two Bits of Country News You Can Use! The Country Lips and Willie Nelson's Tour Bus!!

Posted by on Fri, May 2, 2014 at 4:20 PM

Seattle's eight-piece "premier country mess" of a band, the Country Lips, are about to release their second full-length album, "Nothing to My Name" at a party at the Tractor Tavern on May 9th. They also just released this locally produced video, and IT IS GREAT:

The second bit of news you can use is this: "Willie Nelson's Old Tour Bus Is Being Sold on Craigslist." IT IS ALSO GREAT! I bet it still smells like Stetson cologne and weed.

Full Country Lips tour schedule, after the jump...

Here's a great idea, free for the taking: Buy Willie Nelson's old tour bus, don't change a thing on the interior, and rent it out nightly for "weed tours of Seattle". Yup, that's right - they are already doing that same thing in Denver, Colorado...with a stretch Hummer limo (Tacky! Wasteful!). Do it right with Willie's tour bus (Tacky! Wasteful!) and charge $200 per night for a tour of the cities best dispensaries. No, no - no need to thank me for the idea, just give me a free pass for anytime I want hop on the bus. Wait, make that two free passes. Cheers.
