Ohio Republican's Advertisement Accuses John Boehner of "Electile Dysfunction"

Posted by on Mon, Apr 14, 2014 at 12:09 PM

Apparently, some people think Speaker John Boehner is too far to the left. Those people are now running against Boehner, and putting together weird commercials framed as Viagra ads:

This ad isn't quite as crazy as Jodi Ernst's hog-castrating video, but it does end with someone vomiting, random violence, and stink-face. I've gotta say, this current crop of teabagger TV commercials is my kind of crazy.

I'm beginning to wonder whether the whole Tea Party movement isn't an elaborate piece of performance art.

Although I would never vote for the guy, or even the guy he's trying to unseat, it's a pretty clever ad. Well done, crazy man.

The Republican party is tearing itself apart. There is a faction of the party - the Tea Party - that believes everything is a sacred principle and refuses to compromise on anything or accept anyone who does compromise. They have no interest in governing or government. They are, essentially, anarchists. They are in a civil war with traditional Republicans who have some interest in governing and understand that compromise is necessary in a pluralistic society.

The only position they share is that obscenely rich people should have the freedom to do whatever they want unrestrained by any decency or morality.
