Last night, Aberdeen, Warshington long hair band, Nirvana, along with Kiss, Peter Gabriel, Hall and Oates, and Cat Stevens Yusuf Islam, were inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame. First Seattle wins the Superbowel and now THIS!! Whoa. Today, however, most folks aren't so much talking about Nirvana's R&RHoF inclusion, but rather the after party at Brooklyn club, Saint Vitus. There the remaining Nirvana members played a full live set with guests like J. Mascis, Joan Jett, and Kim Gordon. If you care Brooklyn Vegan has some pictures and live clips of the party/show, or you can watch this shitty video of Mascis fronting the band as they play "School" from 1989's Bleach LP.

Sidebar: Managers Brian Epstein (RIP), of the Beatles, and Andrew Loog Oldham, of the Rolling Stones/Immediate Records also were inducted receiving the Ahmet Ertegun Lifetime Achievement Award; I think their induction was the first inclusion of any group managers, ever.
