Seattle Times reports:

A TV helicopter has crashed near Fisher Plaza and KOMO TV, just south of the Seattle Center

A large plume of dark smoke is rising from the crash site.

The helicopter hit two cars when it hit the ground.

Seattle Fire and police have closed some streets in the area.

The address is 400 Broad Street. The Seattle Fire Department has at least seven vehicles on the scene, according to Seattle Fire Real-Time 911.

UPDATE: The Seattle Times reports that at least two people are dead. "The helicopter, which apparently was trying to land, dropped onto at least three cars when it hit the ground, according to the Seattle Fire Department."
