(Columbia City Theater) Kenya-born Naomi Wachira sings catchy, effervescent folk pop in the storied tradition of Joan Armatrading and Tracy Chapman, with a nice contemporary sheen and a subtle African influence in the rhythm section. Hannalee are a local trio, who craft intricate, twisty indie pop laced with immaculate three-part vocal harmonies. The awesomely named Vaudeville Etiquette have been charming audiences around town for a while now with their "ragtag," old-fashioned honky-tonk-style jams, and will probably be playing a raft of new material off upcoming album Debutantes & Dealers.
