This is what I do with my spare time.
Hey, is State Senator Rodney Tom's two-facedness really getting to you? Tired of it yet? Well, if you're on the Eastside, you have a chance to let him know in person this Saturday.

Goldy mentioned this morning that Tom, the Republican-turned-Democrat-turned-Bullshit-Captain will be running for reelection as a "Democrat" (will they print sarcasm quotes right on the ballot?) in the 48th District—but he's hired the former communications director of the state GOP to run his campaign.

Everyone knows we're not fond of Rodney Tom, since he courageously threw control of the state senate to the hands of the Republicans last year, blocking a slew of meaningful progressive legislation in the process and getting nothing of consequence to show for it.

Anyway, I made that lovely graphic up there because we got a li'l press release about a get together this weekend that Tom and some colleagues are having—it's open to the public, and it's a special time for him to hear from constituents. How do you think he's doing? Let him know:

Who: State Sen. Rodney Tom and state Reps. Cyrus Habib and Ross Hunter (48th Legislative District)

What: Town hall meeting

When: 10 a.m. – noon, Saturday, Feb. 22

Where: Redmond City Hall, 15670 NE 85th St., Redmond
