...but I was trying to give Goldy a pep talk this morning and I started talking about this scene from The Edge:

To my surprise, nobody else knew what I was talking about. (Sorry about the crappy editing in this clip, but this is the YouTube video that comes closest to getting all the dialogue in. I do like the dance remix, though.) What a great, ridiculous, stupid movie this is: Written just before David Mamet completely lost his mind, directed by Lee Tamahori before he became a junior-league Joel Schumacher, starring Anthony Hopkins and Alec Baldwin, who both play their roles with just enough self-awareness to make it funny. This scene is the heart of the movie, and if it can't convince Goldy to organize his e-mail, nothing will.
