There should be no satisfaction drawn from this story—none at all. On one end, another young black male has predictably entered the gates of the largest prison system in the world; on the other, the society continues to protect the reputations and paychecks of bankers who broke laws and caused one of the greatest financial crises in economic history. And most of the citizens of the country don't have the ideological capacity to a see a connection between the two social points and their results. All of this is just fucking sad.
