Yoga Clothing Company Founder Steps Down After Pants-Related Scandal

Posted by on Tue, Dec 10, 2013 at 2:40 PM

Laura Northrup at Consumerist writes:

Maybe customers and potential customers would have been less annoyed with Lululemon founder and chairman Chip Wilson if he hadn’t gone on Bloomberg News and called them all fat in response to an interviewer’s question about his company’s controversial sheer-butt yoga pants. It doesn’t matter now: Wilson is stepping down as chairman at the end of this fiscal year, even though he’ll stay on as a board member.

It should also be noted that Wilson is an Ayn Rand fanatic who had his company print "Who Is John Galt?" on their shopping bags. 2013 has not been a good year for Objectivists, has it?

Pretty sure it was a good year for billionare fashion designer Tory Burch, who makes a dress called "Dagny."
I wish more objectivists/randtards would just be open about it so I would know to avoid them.

If one is up in Vancouver, BC it's worth checking out Chip Wilson's massive house he recently built. It's one of the largest in B.C. and one of the most expensive, costing him $35 million (US) dollars. It's one of three houses he owns.

His conservative/Rand-influenced philosophy has made him impossibly rich, and impossibly selfish. "I got mine" is his attitude. Google search "Chip Wilson House" and you can find out more about this selfish asshole.

The sooner the whole yoga pants "fashion" craze dies off, the better off we will all be. And take the Ugg boots too.
