The Yes on King County Prop 1 campaign are champions of transparency.
At the moment we are holding our final SECB interview of the 2013 election season! Yay! Unfortunately, we're finding the discussion about King County Proposition 1 "Medic One - Emergency Medical Services Renewal of Existing Levy" a little lacking, largely due to the failure of the Yes campaign to show up. (There isn't a No campaign.)
Which puts us in a bind. On the one hand, Medic One provides one of the best emergency medical services in the nation, with a cardiac arrest survival rate of 57 percent—four to five times higher than in most other communities. So our innate spirit of civic engagement persuades us to enthusiastically endorse Yes. But on the other hand, we're exactly the kind of assholes who would endorse No simply as a "fuck you" for standing us up.
Which way should we endorse on the Emergency Medical Levy?
