But would "you grew up on Croissants" be offensive to someone mistaking a German woman for a French woman?

I very much liked the article about the coal trains, and McGinn's assertion, in that article, that big Murray supporters include major backers of the coal trains was notable. However, the article also implied that large tsunamis are increasing as a result of global warming and that's not supported. Major tsunamis are caused by geologic processes, not massive storms. Overstating the effects of global warming goes a long way to discreting an idea that is embattled enough as it is.

@2 Offensive? Perhaps, perhaps not, but it would still be an incredibly stupid comment to make. The response of the woman to the remark was not one of offence it was a slightly disguised, god your stupid but I'm getting paid to banter with you.

The thing that gets me is that the one jackass says "you grew up on Tacos, correct?" and the other, thinking to be helpful, says "No, she didn't, she's Colombian."

And she just keeps going with that "I'm doing this for the check" laughter and corrects them both.

Empanadas, bitches.

To be fair, the woman in DC had a weapon. A car is a weapon. Look at the damage she did with hers.
