My inbox is reminding me that today is National Voter Registration Day, which I am having a hard time celebrating after yesterday's National Drink Five Lemon Drops to Commemorate Your Dead Grandma Day (my mouth still tastes like candied grandma). Also because I'm already a registered voter.
But if you're not registered (or if you've moved in the last year) and you live in Washington state, go register to vote here. If you live outside of Washington, you can register here through ourtime.org, which produced this handy public service announcement:
Last year, 300,000 Americans registered to vote on National Voter Registration Day, while only two people got trashed on National Drink Five Lemon Drops to Commemorate Your Dead Grandma Day. Huh. Maybe I should ask Sarah Silverman to do a video.
