Furious British Airways customer Hasan Syed blew up the Twittersphere yesterday when he started buying promoted tweets to bash the airline after they apparently lost his father's luggage.

Promoted tweets vary on costs depending on the amount of "impressions" and "engagements" the tweets make (through clicks, retweets, favorites, etc.). So how much did Syed end up spending on his quest to become the anti–Don Draper?

Oh just A THOUSAND FUCKING DOLLARS, according to Syed.

But hey! Syed seems happy. This morning, he tweeted out:

So remember, kids, social media is a great way to reach out to people/companies, and make your opinions heard. As long as you have a lot of money.
