A group of 12-year-olds play war in the neighborhood woods. Though they brandish toy guns and sticks, we see things from their point of view, where bullets and mortars rain havoc all around. Over the course of a hot summer afternoon, jealousy and betrayal lead to a Lord of the Flies–style confrontation.
