I don't disagree with the Seattle Times editorial board's passionate rant against media consolidation:

Media consolidation has meant skimpier news coverage, shared newsrooms and an ever-shrinking environment for diverse views, commentary and ownership.

I just find it ironic coming from a daily that fought so long and hard to consolidate Seattle into a one newspaper town. Just sayin'.
