WSJ:

The chances of National Security Agency leaker Edward Snowden finding an easy path out of Moscow’s Sheremetyevo Airport looked increasingly slim on Tuesday, as the former security contractor and fugitive waited for responses to asylum requests he said he has submitted to more than 20 countries.
It's reported that Snowden has withdrawn his request for asylum in Russia because, you know, Putin is not the kind of guy you want to fuck with. WSJ thinks that his best options are Bolivia and Venezuelan, but even if these countries opened their arms as wide as possible for him, he couldn't leave Russia because his papers are not in order. The stateless Snowden show is now in limbo.

Meanwhile:

Edward Snowden’s father Lon Snowden, in an open letter co-authored with his lawyer, compared his son’s leaks to Paul Revere warning of incoming British troops, “summoning the American people to confront the growing danger of tyranny and one branch government.”
Things are really getting teabaggy down here.
