Stranger Genius Award finalist Sherry Markovitz's dazzling and freaky new show at Greg Kucera Gallery is only up through Sunday. The vivid, soft surfaces of her fabric paintings, and the eyeboggling beading on her sculptures really have to be seen in person to be felt, but the gallery has posted an alluring series of images that acts as a perfect teaser for the show itself.
