As Las Vegas 8 News Now reports, a woman who went into a Nevada family court with her two-year-old daughter for a routine divorce hearing was allegedly sexually assaulted by a court marshal. But that's not even the truly awful part! When the woman—Monica Contreras—tried to complain to the family court judge Patricia Donninger about this alleged assault, she was first ignored and then arrested by the same man who had just allegedly assaulted her.

Her tearful, increasingly hysterical protests were all caught on tape. "How could you do this to me," she screams at the judge. "How can you just watch?" It's a fucking nightmare:

The court marshal, Ron Fox, has since been fired, and the judge is being investigated, among others. I'm sure that's cold comfort for a woman who screamed for help in a room full of people who chose, instead, to punish her for speaking up.
