ALABAMA: "Word of Life Christian Center, which moved into a $14 million campus on Derby Parkway in 2006, has moved out of the campus and changed its name. Founding Pastor Scott Webb said the move was not a foreclosure, and had nothing to do with his son's conviction for having sex with a teen while he was the youth pastor.... After the arrest and guilty plea, attendance dropped off so much at Word of Life that all seating in the stadium-riser section of the sanctuary was closed off, restricting seating to the floor in front of the stage. Webb said the move was not a result of declining attendance after his son's legal troubles. 'It has nothing to do with it,' Webb said. The son, former Executive Pastor and Youth Pastor David Webb, was arrested and pleaded guilty in 2009 to transporting a minor girl across state lines for sex. He's serving a five-year federal prison sentence."
