You Couldn't Wear Google Glass at Google's Shareholder Meeting

Posted by on Fri, Jun 7, 2013 at 12:14 PM

CNBC says:

Tight security restrictions at Thursday's Google shareholder meeting led even the company's much-hyped Google Glass technology to be banned, infuriating a consumer watchdog group who accused the tech giant of hypocrisy.

Who would've thought that the second major public Google Glass ban, after the Five Point, would be from Google itself?

I bet they wouldn't let you take pictures and video at the meeting with your Android phone to distribute later either. Also hypocrisy?

They'll ban a google glass, but not an app that claims to "cure" gay people in 60 days?

I haven't been so upset at hypocrisy since movie theaters banned video cameras.

If Google was opposed to other people setting rules like this then it would be hypocritical. But they're not so it is not.
