Meanwhile, back in my birth state of Maine, teabaggy Governor Paul LePage is picking up the crazy-torch that Michele Bachmann is laying down. Last week, LePage announced that he was moving out of his State House offices because the legislature wouldn't let LePage put a TV that flashes a single message over and over again in a public reception area.

Now, LePage is upset that Democrats refused to let him speak about the budget. What was his official response to that action? Calling for armed rebellion.

"It’s freedom of speech. You folks should understand that better than I," LePage told reporters, as quoted by the Portland Press Herald. "It is the First Amendment, then there is the Second and I love ‘em both."

The outspoken governor added, "The minute we start stifling our speech, we might as well go home, roll up our sleeves and get our guns out."

LePage, who probably doesn't know any other amendments beside those first two, doesn't seem to think that a governor discussing armed insurrection against the government is a big deal. And do you know what that means? He's now the official front-runner in the 2016 Republican presidential primaries! Congratulations, Governor!
