Suspect Arrested in Ricin Letter Crime

Posted by on Wed, Apr 17, 2013 at 4:51 PM

This is one of those things you have to read to believe:

Federal sources have confirmed to The Clarion-Ledger that Kenneth Curtis of Tupelo has been arrested in connection with letters laced with ricin that were sent to Sen. Roger Wicker and President Barack Obama.

Federal authorities were in Tupelo on Wednesday investigating the letters. Both letters were signed: "I am KC and I approve this message."

Slog is really uninspiring today, oddly enough not you Paul. For example the comments in that mad Obama with Gabby thread are so fucking lame.

Ol' KC sure ain't the sharpest tool in the shed, that's for sure. Can't wait to hear more about him.

@3, he's one of yours. He's apparently written to Wicker often. 100% certainty that he's mad about libberuls takin' away his precious guns. Just like you. An A+ rating from the NRA isn't good enough anymore, I guess.

So who are you going to attempt to murder, motherfucker?

If this guy is a patsy, and the real culprit's initials aren't KC, then it's the perfect crime.

Actually... I'm not sure how to catagorize this one:
"My name is Kevin Curtis & I blew the whistle on the illegal organ & body parts black market trafficing after being fired & banned from the largest non-metropolitan health care org in the U.S. following an accidental discovery of body parts in morgue "

Good question, Max. You can do it yourself, but most who try don't live to tell about it.

He appears to be your typical Elvis impersonating, environment loving, conspiracy theory / persecution complex, liberal, lefty Democrat.

He’s, clearly, all yours dude!

(In fact… I’m not convinced he’s not actually you).

Well he's also over 40, single, and into ghost hunting. So being stupid and unloveable would indicate he's one of yours.

Nope. He's clearly yours. Rember, ALL conservatives HATE the environment, dance and modeling.

And then there is that part where he self identifies as a Democrat...

@7 - The report states that the suspect is named Kenneth Curtis and your guy (albeit one odd dude, that's for sure) is Paul Kevin Curtis. Are you sure it's the same guy?

Read the article it links to:
"The FBI has arrested a Mississippi man, Paul Kevin Curtis, in connection with letters laced with ricin that were sent to Sen. Roger Wicker and President Barack Obama.

Federal authorities were in Tupelo on Wednesday investigating the letters. Both letters were signed: "I am KC and I approve this message."

Federal officials had originally identified the man as Kenneth Curtis. They have not confirmed if “Kenneth” is an alias."

Note that Fnarf is being conspicuously silent. This means that it's one of those extremely rare occasions when even he realizes what a fuck-up he is.

@21 eat your gun sometime, why don't you, tough guy? Pin a note on your shirt or something, so we know it's you.

By "one of yours" I didn't mean "Republican", I meant "gun-loving fuckhead". He's from Mississippi. Even the Democrats in Mississippi are gun fondlers. It's in their makeup. He's mad at Wicker because he voted, right at the time the letters were mailed, to permit today's failed vote to occur. Which was seen at the time as a horrific act of treason by you and people like you.

Funny... He's got a lot of manifesto type stuff posted on line, and none of it mentions guns... His obsession appears to be a black market in body parts... If you can find anything (other than your own myopic speculation) to indicate this was about guns, I look forward to seeing it.

Yup. But let's all DO try to force him into confirming with our own personal narratives! I'm going to choose to believe he's an islamo-terrorist-greenpeace-global warming nut. Fnarf will choose to believe he's a "gun nut".

Alright, everybody. Who wants to claim him?

"You can have him."

"No, you can have him."

"He's one of yours."

"No, he's yours."

"He likes Elvis."

"He likes dancing."

"He's a Democrat."

"He sent ricin to Obama."

... "He likes Elvis."

Everything I've seen says the letters had some crudely ground castor beans that would test as ricin (at least trace amounts) but are not finely-ground, "laboratory" ricin. So this is a very broad interpretation of ricin, and a swift arrest, which appears to show that we can get our man very swiftly, and well, uh, ummmm....ANYWAY...we got this guy faster than that anthrax dude! Yay us!

This may very well be the stupidest man alive. If he was going to go that far, why not include a photograph as well as his address, social security number and directions to his house?
