City / ??!! / The Ladies Women in the City Also Being Vaporized by Aliens

Yesterday evening, I posted two photos that I took this week of what was clear evidence that aliens are currently abducting/vaporizing ladies in wooded areas. This morning, Slog Tipper Gage was on the case with new evidence, snapped recently at a bus stop in the U-District:

With respect: these seem as inexplicable as Grant's endless "neighborhood watch" photos. Is the point of them to make light of litterbugs? Drunk persons? The homeless? Why are the both of you photographing trash and posting it here?

@4 well, I suppose you would have ask Anna Minard why it's *here* - but I took the photo with an eye to the surreal. I found it odd to see a glossy pair of mismatched yet seemingly intact, large high heels next to a bus stop. They felt placed there as art more than trash. I'm not saying they *are* art.. just that the vibrant color pop on the grey street was art to me.

Drag queen shoes are "in" these days for regular women, much to my dismay as it makes it even more impossible to find sensible, not-completely-fugly shoes.
