The Alderaan Connection

Posted by on Mon, Mar 18, 2013 at 4:17 PM

I'm not generally a fan of Star Wars mashups, but this Star Wars/Loose Change riff made my day.

Wake up, sheeple! If you examine the tape, you can totally see that it's been altered. Han Solo shot first! I can tell by the pixels, and I've seen a lot of Cantina gun battles in my day.

I've said it for years: It makes sense that Vader would sabotage the Deathstar. He was a religious nut who raged against technology and mind-choked the proud architect of the Deathstar during the Beta Test meeting. He knew Moff Tarkin, hos chief rival, would "go down with the ship." He planned to off the Emperor at some point and start his own dynasty with his son. And he sensed his son was with the rebellion and "accidentally" bumped into the intercepting TIE fighter allowing Luke to destroy the Deathstar.

@2: That is fucking. Brilliant. And he conveniently puts himself outside of the station in a personal ship that can make the jump to light speed? All I'm saying is, questions need to be asked...

Vader pretty much spells it out to Luke in Empire just after chopping off his hand. I guess the conspiracy needed some tuning.
