Dear men,
Isn't is uncomfortable to tuck your t-shirts in your underwear?
Love,
A woman who never tucks her shirts into her underwear.

Hopefully he doesn't neglect his other sex skills just because he has a penis now.

The arm with the tattoos visible, or the one where we don't know whether it's got tattoos?

@2, yes, see the linked article about an earlier case, "My willy is made out of my arm": http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/fea…

Who wouldn't give there arm for a new, improved penis? I am surprised penis remodelling isn't as common as breast implants.

I think I would prefer the transplant option. When they work like a real penis, they're so much fun!

and i hope he opts for 'intimidating.' he deserves it.

I think so. But then again, I have always had a penis that could get in the way.

How is this news? Transmen have been doing this for years.

@7, I would like a penis remodel. My formica is finally starting to peel. I suppose at my age I should spring for the granite.

Don't go too big, otherwise anal is OFF the menu until you do find a size queen. And if you do find an anal size queen, never let them go.

@13, no peeling yet, though the color layer is about rubbed off. You must be somewhat older.

@12--A few years ago I heard from Chaz Bono, who should know, that the then-current state of the rod-from-building art yielded a painful, ugly, slow to heal scar on the arm and a limp, largely insensitive flesh-noodle you can piss through. I think maybe they may have made some crucial advances recently. Let's hope all the trans-men, all the maimed men, all the micropenised men, and all the men traumatized by bad porn to think that 8" was barely functional, let alone adequate, may soon be able to have a huge hogleg if they want it bad enough. And if they don't, may all of us have renewed confidence in the adage, "Try me on for size, baby. I don't get a lot of complaints."

Phalloplasty has been around for years. I would never get it because it costs $80-100k, isn't sensate and can't get hard on its own. In addition, it doesn't look like a real penis and the scars are indeed horrendous. I'm curious as to who is picking up the tab. Trans guys have to pay for it out of pocket.

I had a penis built out of my own arm. The only time it got erect was when I had writer's cramp.

It's The Sun, so I'm not surprised by how they're portraying it, but there's nothing new in this surgery that's going to make a phalloplasty fully functional in the ways that really counts. If it has sensation at all, it'll be on par with having your arm rubbed. The surgery described there (flesh tube rolled up from the arm and grafted onto groin) is what's been around for ages.

@18: Called my bluff on that one.

I'd have a penis built out of my arm, but you never know when a clip from one of those Nuremberg rallies will show up on the teevee.

Phalloplasty also has an extremely high rate of complications, many of which lead to the removal of the misshapen flesh tube some irresponsible surgeon tried to pass off as a legitimate attempt to recreate a phallus. Transmen (and all other men who live without penises) deserve better.
