SHOCKER: Fox News Head Is a Hateful, Opinionated Man

Posted by on Wed, Mar 6, 2013 at 12:58 PM

You can always tell there's a hot new biography on the horizon when juicy tidbits start dropping in the media. This time, the subject is Fox News chief Roger Ailes, and here's what he is quoted as saying:

• Newt Gingrich is "a prick" and a "sore loser."

• Joe Biden is "dumb as an ashtray.”

• Marco Rubio is "a nice guy," but he wasn't mean enough to be Mitt Romney's running mate.

• President Obama is "lazy" and has "never worked a day in his life."

It's a good thing this biography is coming out now, because thirty years from now, nobody will care who Roger Ailes was. Maybe sooner, because Aisles himself believes he'll be dead in ten years.

However, all of those statements are correct, but not in that particular order.

"Yes, folks, Ailes really has convinced himself that being a wealthy housewife [Ann Romney] is more work than being the director of a community-organizing non-profit, the editor of Harvard Law Review, a lawyer, a memoirist, a law professor, a civil rights attorney, a state senator, a U.S. Senator and then the President."

Because a brown President is "lazy" by [Republican] definition.

No racism to see here, move on.

10 years is a long time to wait.

"Lazy" is a racist term. And so, besides all the other horrible things Ailes is, including his name, he's likely just another right wing racist moron.

Dead in 10 years? It will be 30 years too late to make a difference.

He also bears a striking resemblance to the Goblin King in the new Hobbit film. That's all I could think during that scene.
