The More I Read Marilyn McKenna's Twitter Feed...

Posted by on Tue, Mar 5, 2013 at 6:56 PM

...the more I like her.

She tweets about eyefucking hot barista boys—what's not to like about that? And you gotta love that she did it for revenge:

Marilyn McKenna's Twitter handle is @mckennamarilyn.

I'm sorry--but is her Twitter feed real? (I mean, is it really Mrs. McKenna?)

Ok, I'm done with the job title - Barista. Dip-shit coffee maker, or just scrap the dip-shit part.

She's probably not getting sex from Rob, so this makes sense.

Her general lack of understanding of romance languages in the second largest Spanish speaking country in the world not withstanding, agreed.

I'm pretty sure that Rob McKenna has successfully prosecuted a lot of "eyefucking" cases in his day.

Christ. She clearly doesn't have 3 brain cells to rub together, and she calls me lazy for voting for someone who supports full civil rights (that someone being anyone besides her sniveling husband).

And it is apparently okay to ogle the hell out of a male attendant, so long as nobody thinks he's too girly. Cuz girly dudes are just beneath her contempt, I guess.

If I ever meet her in real life, remind me to swish and sashay for all I'm worth.

Oh, Dan, I love your playful jesting tweets about Mrs. McKenna.

But, seems to me you're a lot less vituperative now...where did the anger go?

Oh...wait...what's this. Looks like Rob is no longer in politics, but working for a big, big law firm in an urban setting. And seems like...yeah...they have a lot big, big Obama contributors.

Strange bedfellows. Well...SLOG wrote the book on that...or should I say the column.

Actually other then her Inslee stuff, I don't mind her tweets.

Calling everyone that didn't vote for her husband intellectually lazy doesn't get a pass though.

Jesus. If you start dropping her into the next LiveSlog, I'm gonna hork up such a hairball.

What gives with the McKenna family insecurity about their intelligence? Her husband ran as the "I'm smarter than you fuckers" candidate; it's as bad as that retarded Reagan flunky Sununu who went around bragging about his I.Q.

I have the same model washer and dryer as Rob McKenna. But not in red, that's a little bit too jazz hands for me.

They've hired a PR firm and are re-branding as "edgey". She's the wedge.

Her friend is wrong about the plural. Yes, it's from the Italian, but we're not in Italy. "English-ization" means you take an English plural now: baristas.

Thanks fnarf, I'll bone up on my knowledge of Italian.

@18, but, but what do we do about paninis!?

@19, I see what you did there.

I have wondered on occasion if 'baristo' would be correct to use for men behind the espresso machine.

In Italian, its: un panino, due panini. I can't bring myself to say "one panini two paninis", per Fnarf's prescription for dealing with Enlishization, so I solve the problem by pronouncing "panini" as it were spelled "sandwich."

Barista and Panini are one thing.

But people, cannoli IS plural. It's not cannolis. One is a cannolo. Two or more are cannoli.

I make the best damn cannoli on the West coast, but being the obsessive, controlling fuckhead I am I won't give any to anyone who refers to them as 'cannolis' until they learn to fucking say the word right.
