Maybe Marilyn McKenna and Ann Romney Should Get Together and Start a Support Group?

Posted by on Tue, Mar 5, 2013 at 8:49 AM

Frustrated FLOTUS wannabe Ann Romney got bitter on Fox. Frustrated FLOWS wannabe Marilyn McKenna expresses gets bitter on Twitter:

Snapshot_3_5_13_8_14_AM-4.png

"Marilyn McKenna, wife of Rob McKenna apparently, follows me on Twitter and responded to a tweet of mine," says Slog tipper Ryan. "I figure she probably says all kinds of ridiculous things on Twitter so might be worth looking into. She seems easy to provoke, although I wonder how she finds the time with the 'weight loss book for families' she's writing."

Says Stranger news editor Dominic Holden: "Not only is she saying that you're lazy if you support a candidate because they back gay marriage, she's showing the problem with Republicans. They STILL refuse to accept that they're losing on policy. Gay marriage, immigration, reproductive freedom. When someone votes against a Republican because their policy position on those issues are stuck in the last century, they stick their heads in the sand and blame... the lazy, freeloading Democrats. Every time."

Voting against someone who hates me isn't lazy. It's smart. Voting for the guy who is going to treat me equally and like a human being isn't lazy. It's smart.

Hey Marilyn, do you deny the need for Republican candidates to pass litmus tests on abortion and taxes? If so, you're as dishonest as your washed up husband.

litmus test are lazy, says the party of 100% NRA ratings, pro-life absolutism & no-taxes-ever pledges.

I love the ice-drenched "enjoy", as if she just burned him for "lazily" sticking up for human rights.

Enjoy being a failure and a coward where it matters. Marilyn!

"...but whatever..."

Old Robbie better put the eye on Marilyn while he's making money for Democrats at his new law firm.

I didn't realize that civil rights were intellectually lazy. Mouthing off on twitter on the other hand, especially when your husband still has political ambitions.

"the 'weight loss book for families' she's writing." Is she the one responsible for Rob's Skeletor impersonation? Serving litmus strips as a main course at home?

Adding 'but whatever' to the ends of your arguments is intellectually lazy.

"because their policy position on those issues are stuck in the last century..."

The Century when America was still a prosperous functional society?

THAT Century?

As opposed to the Century (hell, decade is more like it...) when American't collapsed?

But, you know, Homosexual "Marriage"! and all...

Substantive issues that can make or break peoples lives are "litmus tests?"

Shit like demanding abortion opposition from people who support shitty sex ed and medical care policies that INCREASE demand for abortion is a litmus test. What an asshole.

What this thread really needs is an idiotic comment from Pheebles in Whitewineford.

Let 'em keep arguing and believing they lost because of the packaging/marketing of their policies and candidates, or because a couple loony hair-splitters-on-rape hurt the brand, or because libruls are knee-jerk morons.

The longer Republicans continue to whine about the unfairness of those sorts of secondary factors in their electoral losses, rather than truly examine and update their policies, priorities, and tone, the longer they'll continue to lose elections in which they'd otherwise be competitive.

Wow. There is so much wrong with that second tweet one almost marvels at the efficiency of squeezing that much spite and errancy into a mere dozen words. It's like the German blitzkrieg or an exact replica of Michaelangelo's David sculpted from human feces.

What an unpleasant creature she is.

Wait, what? Lazy? Are you crazy? I have literally spent the last 25 years fighting for civil rights for LGBT people, and you are calling me lazy for voting for a guy who supports full civli rights?

Fuck off, you over-privileged delusional cow.
