City What City Council Candidate Sam Bellomio Says "You Need to Do"

Or at least what the business card he handed to me at City Council a month ago, when I asked him what he was all about, says you should do. Sam Bellomio is running for Mike O'Brien's city council seat. As we've reported, Bellomio appears to be a serious challenger with a clear set of cogent principles, a way with the media, and a strong coalition of supporters.

'course it'll never happen, but wouldn't it be a thrill to see how Bellomio would deal with a gang of Bellomios (collective term: "a headbang of") were he installed on the other-side of the dais?

Too bad the website is no more forthcoming with any of the tantalizing details so ALL CAPS'd in front of our eyes... Who are the "Major Players"??? Inquiring minds want to zzzzzzzzzzzzz.....

@12, Actually I think Bailio makes a great point here. Clearly it's Signore Bellomio's Italianness that's at issue. (I'll be damned if I can figure out what Imusx72 has to do with this, though.)

I have to wonder how The Stranger will feel about bullying this admittedly obnoxious fellow after he's reached his inevitable crisis point and been institutionalized (or cremated, as the case may be).
