@2, yes! She's been Dr. Mrs. The Monarch for four years. After a thorough interrogation, the Sovereign (David Bowie) of the Guild of Calamitous Intent pronounced her and the Monarch villain and villainess. They moved into the Wright-style house vacated by Phantom Limb in a town called Malice, a gated community for supervillains (“it's like Boca Raton at Halloween around here”).

It's great to see some many young ladies (and one or two older ones) sporting violet and purple hair --- when I first saw this back in the early 1970s, I thought it soooo very kewl!

Thanks for properly identifying everything. As a big fat nerd I find it kind of grating when someone posts a picture of, say, a Homestuck troll and calls it a 'monster' or something generic.

I saw Manleeloo Dallas yesterday in passing and he looked pretty embarrassed, which seemed odd. If you're going to be a fuzzy guy going out in a strap bikini thing, you have to be ready to own it.

@14, his resolve may have weakened between his front door and the Con.

Early one evening many years ago a friend dared me to walk with her from the Convention Center up Pike to Bellevue Ave. wearing only my new shoes. Though I set out with a spring in my step, by the time I got to Boren I was looking a little sheepish too.

Cool pics! I love it!

Darth Maul playing the bagpipes is pretty hard to top, though.

@ 17 I will call the Darth Maul playing bagpipes with Super girl doing weird contortion moves on the marble floor at the Con Saturday night. And Danny Bonaduce interviewing Christopher Lloyd was a showstopper. The Legos exhibit was really cool any pics of the 6' tall space needle built out of Legos?

I was just thinking to myself, "Self, why don't you go an be a nerd amongst her own kind since it is just a few blocks away?" Then I saw the photos on Flickr and remembered that I explode in crowds (it is my superpower). Ah well... all I can do is dream (and force my boyfriend to dress up in silly costumes just for me). :o
