Good answer.

Frankly I'd rather a mounted cop then a foot patrol. Both the crowd and the mounted cop are less likely to go off then a foot cop and a crowd.

@7: I'm not sure but I also suspect that Jonah Spangenthal Lee writes the SPD's twitter feed (as well as the SPD blotter).

I asked once before here if he is a former Stranger writer. No one answered, but I believe the answer is yes.
