The Ladies / Fashion Friday Photo Fun: Mom Mullets!

I love-love-love this week's Stranger cover, by photographer Danny Ghitis. Seems he shot the photo in Harlem Valley, north of New York City. It immediately reminded me of a photo—of a woman I saw at The Evergreen Speedway in Monroe this past summer. Oh, The Mighty Mom Mullet!

Which mom mullet is mightier? East Coast, or West Coast?

You know, fun is fun, but I feel a little sorry for them. It can be very expensive to get a haircut when you have kids to feed. Cutting your own hair doesn't always look glamorous.

OMG, West Coast.

By the way, I know Christopher was all excited to put the words "Sweet-Ass Rack" on the cover, but I think the combination of that headline with the taken-from-behind photo sends a mixed message, like it was attempting to refer to the subject's "Sweet Ass-Rack" but the hyphen migrated.
