Tech Apple Hacked

Apple Inc computers were attacked by the same hackers who targeted Facebook Inc, but no data appeared to have been stolen, the company said on Tuesday in an unprecedented admission of a widespread cyber-security breach.

This seems as though it might be the new normal. (And President Obama's State of the Union call for more cybersecurity measures now seems prescient.) As for normal schlubs who just use this stuff on the internet and don't create it, a password change is always a good idea.

I suggest KeePass, there's a version or compatible app for every platform. It generates strong passwords and stores them in a secure file. Keep the file in cloud storage so you have them everywhere.

I don't even see the value of hacking Facebook, except bragging rights. Getting access to baby pictures and Angry Bird high scores?

No data appeared to have been stolen by the Chinese hackers of the NYT either.

Oh, by the way, cool new phone in China coming out that is better than the iPhone.

Just a coincidence.

You can get people's email addresses and passwords. If they've used the same password across multiple accounts (which many people do), criminals can then raid their bank accounts.
