Dear Slog,

As soon as you post a funny or die video, I stop reading slog for the day. Not for spite, but because they autoplay and it's super annoying.

The funniest thing I've ever seen was The Chet Episode on Children's Hospital.

Hey everyone,

On which browsers do Funny or Die videos autoplay? I'm on Chrome on a Mac and it never happens. In any case, we're looking into it. Sorry.

Safari, Mac here and it autoplays on pageload. Thank you!

Doesn't autoplay in Chrome on a Windows PC.

@7: Fuuuuuuuck. We'll figure out how to deal with this. Sorry. Thanks for bringing it to us!

I'm on Internet Explorer ::pauses for laughter:: and I don't have it autoplay.

Okay. I put the video behind the jump for right now, and we're trying to figure out a solution for FoD videos. Thanks for letting us know.

(Special note to pragmatic the IE user @10: Looks like you've got at least one thing to lord over Safari users. No autoplay!)

Safari on Mac, and FoD never autoplays for me. *gives halo a casual spin*

So... The Stranger doesn't like Portlandia but does like the thrown together, whatever sticks humor of Funny or Die...

Probably there's a setting for Autoplay people can disable, kind of like how I turn images off sometimes, but you should always put it below the cut unless it's a cute kitten.

@13, pretending to be smarter/funnier and that they thought of it first. The only Funny or Die that's funny is Between two Ferns.

Another good reason not to post these Funny or Die videos is they're not funny.

It autoplays on Safari, iOS.

But, luckily, not when behind a cut. Thanks. :-D
