The Wet Spots

The Wet Spots performed this song—and a few others—at 7:30 this morning during a benefit for Options for Sexual Health, a.k.a. the Planned Parenthood of British Columbia. I'd never seen the Wet Spots perform live and they were great—even first thing in the morning, even over hotel ballroom eggs. The Wet Spot's "Texas Annie (You Can't Buy a Dildo Texas)" after the jump...

The first time I saw The Wet Spots live was part of a cabaret night. They played three songs, which, at the time, were the only three songs they had, and they didn't even have an email list yet. I've loved them ever since and gone to see them every time they've played in a city where I live.

@saxfanatic, I can't watch the video at work so I could be wrong, but the sex toy ban I'm assuming they're talking about was (finally! thankfully!) overturned almost exactly 5 years ago today.
