AP broke the story:

IRVING, Texas (AP) — A decision on whether the Boy Scouts of America will keep its policy that excludes gay members and leaders will not be voted on until the organization's annual meeting in May, the national executive board said Wednesday.

Great idea, guys! That's sure to defuse this controversy and keep it from becoming a big thing. I expect the Boy Scouts' shameful treatment of gay people will surely stay out of the public eye between now and May, and that a public vote on whether to grant equal rights to a minority will surely end well. It always has before.
