Just a friendly reminder that everyone's favorite party—the one where everyone's silent and reading to themselves while classical music plays and waiters bring you things—is tonight. Yesterday it was announced that one of the special guests will be choreographer and dancer Zoe Scofield, a two-time finalist for a Stranger Genius Award. The other special guest will be Tonya Lockyer, dance artist and executive/artistic director of Velocity Dance Center (which won a Genius Award in 2003). They will both just there and read whatever they feel like reading, to themselves, like everyone else.

As always: 6 pm, Sorrento Hotel, Fireside Room, recorded classical music from 6 to 7, live harp from 7 to 8, $5 Manhattan drink special good until 9, all ages, free. Get there early—tends to fill up fast. More details here.
