Posted by on Wed, Jan 16, 2013 at 5:02 PM

And if you're a fan of independent literature—The Stranger is independent literature!—you should know about APRIL, support APRIL, and go to APRIL. It happens the last week in March. APRIL events are spread throughout the city, including in venues that you have never, ever been to, from coffee shops and hotel lobbies and bars to parking garages under apartment buildings. (Shhh! Don't tell the property managers!) Here's Paul Constant's take on an APRIL-organized Lit Crawl last year.
