The Smiling Man in the Picture Is Holding the Ticket for His Death

Posted by on Thu, Jan 10, 2013 at 7:55 AM

Look at his face! He has no clue, he thinks he won one million dollars on a scratch-off ticket, he sees a future of American prosperity and happiness, he does not see what we see: a man who is holding the ticket of his death....

Urooj Khan, who owned several dry cleaning operations and some real estate, died suddenly on July 20, just days before he was to collect his winnings from the Illinois Lottery. With no signs of trauma, authorities initially ruled he died of natural causes, but a relative came forward with suspicions that prompted a fuller examination that led to the startling conclusion that he was intentionally poisoned.
An unknown person used cyanide to murder the unlucky lottery winner.

If he hadn't cashed the check yet, I bet it was jealousy that killed him.

If the person who murdered him is unknown, so is the motive. It's nothing more than a theory.

Christ, and over a winning scratcher ticket? I know people have killed for less, but that's not even quite-your-job money.
