That's Entertainment!

Posted by on Wed, Jan 9, 2013 at 2:30 PM

1. Netflix confirmed today that all fourteen episodes of a new season of Arrested Development will be available on streaming in May.

2. Tina Fey is in talks to appear in the next Muppet movie.

3. I don't know which piece of news excites me more.

Not big on the return of AD. Seems to me the show caught lightning in a bottle the first time around. I would hate to see the new episodes sully the memory of the original run.

Are you kidding? Of course, Tina Fey/Muppets! Can you imagine the power of her smart feminine ways to work charms on the boys' club? Kermit will be grovelling at her feet. Waldorf will be tongue-tied and speechless. Piggy will be a seething rage.

Oh, the hijinks.

Open a nearby window, and listen carefully. You might just hear me squeeing with joy.

I was just thinking of ditching you, Netflix. Alas, my $8 a month (or whatever it is these days) is yours for the foreseeable future.

If this were a poll, I'd be going with Number 2.
