Political Suicide The NRA's Solution?

The organization wants an armed cop at every school in the whole of America. This is not a joke. This is the best they could come up with a week after the murders. The NRA:

‘‘The only thing that stops a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun...’’

The organization has underestimated the magnitude of Newtown. Saying that Adam Lanza is some movie villain like the Joker is not what the public wants to hear. The public wants real solutions for a real world. Boehner and now the NRA—the night just keeps getting darker for the GOP.

So wait, the group that champions freedom and the right to keep arms as a backstop against a tyrannical state actually wants cops in every school???
Yeah, no police state potential there. No way that could go wrong, or experience mission-creep. Nope.

Do we need an armed police officer in every shopping mall, every movie theater, and every college campus as well?

At what point do we start calling this a fascist society? And is that really what the NRA wants to stand for?

How about the only thing that stops a bad guy is not having a gun? Or at least slow the psychos down a bit!
For all the people pointing to the stabbings in China and whining that "bad guys" will still try shit... yeah they'll still try but at least those kids are still alive you dumb fucks!
