Vigilante Sex Sting! Vigilante Sex Sting!

Posted by on Wed, Dec 19, 2012 at 12:20 PM

Christ with crotch crabs, I will never tire of typing the phrase "vigilante sex sting":

If you want to be a vice cop, cool. Apply to be an officer, go through training, work the streets for a few years, and try to get a transfer to the Vice Unit. But please,oh please, do not take it upon yourself to go out and buy a pair of handcuffs, rent a hotel room, and set up your very own sex sting.

Officers arrested two men at Hotel Five in downtown Seattle Monday after one of the men posted a fake sex ad on a website (which rhymes with Greg’s list) and then robbed the other man, who responded to the ad.

... The 19-year-old man met up with a 28-year-old man at the hotel, and the pair went up to a room together. There, the 28-year-old man told the 19-year-old he was a federal agent, ordered him to lay on the ground, and then handcuffed him.

The 28-year-old–who is definitely not a federal agent—let the 19-year-old man go after he forked over $191 and a pair of sunglasses...

I'll see you in my dreams, vigilante sex sting.

If owning a pair of cuffs makes you a Federal Agent, then I'm Captain Fucking America.

From the headline I thought Phoenix Jones got Purrell on his dick while fapping.

Reading the article it sounds less like a "Vigilante Sex Sting" and more like someone using Craig's list to rob people.
Helpful hint - when you've been robbed by someone you think is a pimp then you might want to skip going to the police.

"Officers then arrested the 28-year-old for extortion and unlawful imprisonment, and asked the 19-year-old if, in fact, he’d gone to the hotel for a rendezvous with a 14-year-old girl."

If your vigilante stings when you sex, you should see a doctor.

Read the whole story - the 28 year old posted an ad that he was a 14 year old girl. The 19 year old actually came to meet the girl.

Which Christ? on the cross or off the cross? Because on the cross would have to be worse (no way to scratch!). Please clarify, Cienna. Thank you.

@1 That's awesome. Yours is my favorite of the comments I can remember reading on Slog since ever. Thanks.

@2 I know, right? But I guess you have to carry the cash if you're going out for illicit, child-abuse, 14-year-old sex.

By the way, how dumb is that 19-year-old? It's one thing to take risks for something you really want, but it's another to totally shut down your common sense machine. It's there for a reason.

@8 That's a big part of the story that was omitted in Cienna's post.
